Biscuit is a sure-footed 2010, 15 hand Bay Gelding made to work the ranch, cruise the trails in comfort or serve as an all-around family horse on the farm. He is versatile, incredibly steady and has never taken a wrong step.
He enjoys both arena work and the trails - having spent time as a lesson horse while here with us. Good with kids, he adapts to his rider and will take it slow and easy, like it's his job. That said, Biscuit is a ranch-style gelding He's taken naturally to cows and roping, making him a suitable prospect for more advanced roping, ranch or farm work.
He's at his best on the trails, where he is next-level comfortable and navigates varied terrain with ease. If Biscuit is anything, it's solid and reliable on the trails. Hands down, he would be our pick to pack up and go. He does need more miles away from home but with continued experience, he will make a tremendous trail partner.

Temperament
Agreeable, patient and will do whatever is asked of him. Easy to catch in the pasture. Middle-top of herd. Calm and reliable but will pick it up a notch when it's time to work. Trailers, crossties and leads very well. Not pushy. Not "in your pocket" but consistent and easy to ride. Surprisingly comfortable - excellent for longer rides.
Very respectful on the ground, loads, bathes and stands quietly for fly spray and the vet/farrier. Has been introduced to the dummy, ropes and live cattle with no issues. UTD on coggins and vaccines. Shod on all 4.
Best Suited For
Under saddle, he is pretty laid-back, more of a push-style ride but responsive to queues and leg pressure. Would do well with a beginner rider (working with a trainer or coach), or a more experienced rider looking for a solid trail or ranch partner.
Ownership + History
Owned by the same family from weanling until 2022. We purchased him 2/2022. Selling as grade (he was never registered but we do have his registration paperwork).
